Vanderbilt Football Recruiting: Illinois Offers Ian Bunting

2014 wide receiver/tight end Ian Bunting received an offer from the Illinois Fighting Illini on January 5th. This now brings his total number of offers to three.

The three teams to have offered at Bunting include: the Vanderbilt Commodores, the Illinois Fighting Illini, and the Purdue Boilermakers.

Bunting is a 6’6″, 210 pound wide receiver (what he is being recruited for) from Hinsdale, Illinois.

He just finished his junior season at Hinsdale Central High School.

Hinsdale Central made it into the Class 8A Illinois State Playoffs. They lost to the Oak Park-River Forest Huskies, 24-28, in their first round game.

As a junior, Bunting recorded 412 receiving yards on 16 receptions and four touchdowns.

The three-star recruit is currently ranked 13th in the state of Illinois and 58th among wide receivers by 247Sports.
