Iowa Football Recruiting: Illinois Offers Jauan Wesley

2014 wide receiver Jauan Wesley received an offer from the Illinois Fighting Illini on January 5th. The Illini are the first team to extend an offer out to Wesley.

He is a 5’11″, 160 pound wide receiver from Harvey, Illinois. He just finished his junior season at Thornton Township High School in Chicago’s south suburbs.

Thornton Township made it into the Class 7A Illinois State Playoffs.

However, they lost to Downers Grove North, 13-29, in the second round of the state playoffs.

Wesley played very well as a junior for Thornton Township. In his junior season, he recorded 890 receiving yards on 44 receptions and 14 receiving touchdowns.
