Illinois Football Recruiting: Mississippi State Offers Jamarco Jones

2014 offensive tackle Jamarco Jones received an offer from the Mississippi State Bulldogs on December 21st. This now brings his total number of offers to sixteenth.

Besides Mississippi State, the other teams to have offered at Porter include: Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Purdue, Toledo, Vanderbilt, and Wisconsin.

Jones is a 6’6″, 290 pound from Chicago, Illinois.

He played this past season at De La Salle Institute.

De La Salle Institute finished with a record of 4-5 overall and 4th in the Chicago Catholic – White. They did not make the Illinois State Playoffs.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 2nd in the state of Illinois, 4th among offensive tackles, and 47th overall in the Class of 2014 by 247Sports.
