Illinois Football Recruiting: Tennessee Offers James Clark

The Tennessee Volunteers offered at James Clark on December 18th. After receiving this offer, Clark’s total number of offers is now at sixteen teams.

Besides Tennessee, the other teams to have offered at James Clark include Duke, Northwestern, Rutgers, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Purdue, Auburn, Florida International, Illinois, Iowa State, Kentucky, Miami (FL), Penn State, Central Florida, and Vanderbilt.

Clark is a 5’10″, 170 pound wide receiver from New Smyrna Beach, Florida. He played this past season at New Smyrna Beach High School.

New Smyrna Beach made it into the Class 6A Florida State Playoffs. However, they lost to Winter Haven in the first round, 24-20.

Clark is highly-regarded for the traits in which he brings to the table. He has great hands, great speed, great route-running ability, and is able to rack up numerous yards after the catch.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 25th in the state of Florida, 21st among wide receivers, and 178th overall in the Class of 2013 by 247Sports.
