2013 safety Delano Hill originally committed to the Iowa Hawkeyes on April 14th, 2012. However, he decommitted from Iowa on Saturday and committed to the Michigan Wolverines. Hill committed to Michigan on the same day as fellow high school teammate, David Dawson.
The other teams that had offered at Hill include: Cincinnati, Illinois, Pittsburgh, and Syracuse.
Hill is a 6’1″, 200 pound safety from Detroit, Michigan. He played this past season at Cass Technical High School.
Cass Technical made it to the the state championship of the Division I Michigan State Playoffs. They defeated Catholic Central High School 36-21.
He is highly-regarded for his ball skills, his run support, and his instincts.
The three-star safety is ranked 11th in the state of Michigan, 23rd among safeties, and 70th in the Midwest region by ESPN.
Michigan has 24 commitments from the class of 2013.
