2013 offensive tackle Chongo Kondolo will be visiting the BYU Cougars this weekend. This will be his first visit since his official visit to Illinois on November 30th. This will be his second official visit of the season.
Kondolo currently has offers from seven teams. According to ESPN, it is projected that BYU, Illinois, and Maryland are at the head of the pack.
Teams that have offered at him include: BYU, Illinois, Syracuse, Maryland, Colorado State, Grambling State, and Nevada.
Kondolo is from Fresno, California and has played his last two seasons at Fresno City College. He attended high school at Carrollton (Texas) Creekview.
His best trait is his pass blocking ability. The 6’4″, 290 pound offensive tackleswould be a big addition to any of the offenses for BYU, Illinois, or Maryland.
The two-star recruit is currently ranked 68th in the state of California, 22nd among offensive tackles, and 202nd nationally among junior college recruits by 247Sports.
Chongo Kondolo currently has three years or two seasons of eligibility left. This means that he still has a redshirt year available.
