The Illinois baseball team lost all four games in its most recent road trip, which included getting swept by Purdue. This was the first time since 2008 Illinois was swept by a Big Ten opponent.

Justin and Jordan Parr lead the Illini offense; Justin homered in the second game of Sundays doubleheader, and went 3-7 overall on Sunday in both games while Jordan was 3-8 in the doubleheader. The Illini were close to winning all four of their games on the road trip, losing by no more than three runs in those four games.
Illinois will host Illinois State today before they face Eastern Illinois tomorrow. Friday they get back into Big Ten play when they will play Ohio State for a three game home weekend series. The Illini are now 18-16 and 3-6 in Big Ten play.
