Illinois offers dual threat Pa. QB Damion Terry

Erie Cathedral Prep QB Damion Terry reached out to tell me yesterday that he had received an offer from the Fighting Illini. That’s his 3rd offer in the last couple weeks behind Michigan State and Boston College. He has been on the Junior Day circuit this spring, visiting Penn State, Ohio State, West Virginia and Michigan State. Damion has not yet visited Illinois, but hopes to make the trip this summer. He recently told me that Florida and Michigan State were his favorites and that Ohio State would be his “dream school.” It’s very early in the process though, and he was very excited about his latest offer.

Here are a few snippets from my interview with Damion last month, along with his film:

-Damion said the he’s looking for a school with “tradition, welcoming players/future teammates and strong academics.”

-Terry told me that he is “getting used to this situation and is really enjoying the recruiting process.”
