Illinois-Northwestern Full-Court Vision: Post-Game Box Score Review

January 6, 2011: Illinois (12-3, 2-0) vs. Northwestern (9-3, 0-2)

10:52 p.m. Update: Illinois crushes Northwestern, 88-63, and shoots an amazing 31-of-44 from the field.

That’s a scary-good 70.5 shooting percentage, folks.

Due to coaching my own seventh grade team and playing in my Thursday night league, I did not see a minute of this game.

I will watch my DVD-R recording and get some observations up on the site tomorrow morning.

As for the box score, it shows great balance from the Illini, which got 14 points from Demetri McCamey, 13 from Mike Tisdale, 12 from Mike Davis, 11 each from Meyers Leonard and Jereme Richmond, and 10 from D.J. Richardson.

All in all, it seems like Illinois blitzed the Wildcats from start to finish, which is nice to see.

Illinois has taken care of business thus far in the Big Ten and is 3-0 in conference play as a result.

Until tomorrow.
