Daily Deron: Williams, Jazz Fall to Matthews, Blazers Twice in Four Days

With Brandon Roy out indefinitely with sore knees, Wesley Matthews stepped up yet again (as has been the case all season) to help the Portland Trail Blazers defeat his former team, the Utah Jazz, last night.

After scoring 14 points during Portland’s 96-91 victory in Utah on Monday night, Matthews dropped 30 points and added 3 rebounds and 3 assists in Rip City during the Blazers 11-point win against the Jazz on Thursday.

Deron Williams led the Jazz with 19 points in the loss.
